Arenal D'en Castell Arenal D'en Castell
This is one of the most popular beaches on the North coast and is just a short drive from Son Parc. Surrounded by many hotels and tourist developments it is to some extent protected from the east wind. The large sandy cove provides safe bathing and has many facilities including beach bars, restaurants and water sports. For this reason it is particularly popular with families.
Sant Tomas
The beach at Sant Tomas is backed by hills and is long and sandy. Along its length there are numerous apartments and tourist developments offering a selection of restaurants. There is also plenty of parking and a number of play areas for children.

Cala Pregonda
This beautiful unspoilt beach lies on the rugged north coast. It is surrounded by pine woods and boasts fine sands and transparent waters. Offshore lie several rocks that further protect the cove from the open sea. You will find no facilities here.

Algaiarens
This is another wonderful untouched beach on the north coast. Surrounded by sand dunes and marshland it is well worth the small charge to visit the transparent waters of this cove. Be prepared to take your own parasols and refreshments since there are no facilties here either.

Na Macaret Na Macaret
A small fishing village on the North East coast, Na Macaret offers a quiet retreat and is popular with Spanish families. There is a small beach which is well sheltered from the rugged coastline and its crystal waters are perfect for snorkelling. Behind the beach Na Macaret has three restaurants and a small shop. Bar Na Macaret is almost on the beach and is open all year round.

Es Grau
Lying within the Parc Natural De S'Albufera (Menorca's first National Park), Es Grau is one of the only truly protected areas of the island. The beach here is long and sandy and the waters are shallow for some considerable distance. The traditional houses of Es Grau are set to one side of the beach where you can also find a small selection of bars and restaurants.

Cala Galdana Cala Galdana
Situated to the south of Ferreries this perfect horse-shoe beach is surrounded by pinewoods and dramatic rockfaces. The trees extend onto the beach to provide plenty of natural shade. With an abundance of hotels, restaurants and bars there is no shortage of facilities here and it is particularly popular with families.

Binibeca
A small inlet on the South-East coast, the beach at Binibeca slopes gently into clear waters, making it popular with children. The sands extend far back from the sea to join pine woods which can provide a welcome escape from the heat. The beach is served by a single beach bar providing drinks and light meals. Facilities here include the usual parasol, sun lounger and pedalo hire.

Son Bou
At nearly 4 kilometres, this is the island's longest beach. Despite its length it is also one of the most crowded beaches. There are many facilities here including beach bars, sun bed and umbrella hire, pedaloes and even water-skiiing, jet-skis and windsurfing. Behind the beach lies the resort of Urbanizacion San Jaime Mediterraneo and the adjoining Urbanizacion Torre Soli Nou where you will find a good selection of restaurants and bars.
