Son Parc Beach
Son Parc boasts one of the best beaches on the island. But a short 5-minute drive or 15-minute gentle stroll from Green Park Village the beach is backed by large sand dunes and pine woods which soften to a gentle slope. This blue flag beach provides safe bathing and is popular with families since the clear water remains shallow for some 20 or 30 metres from the shore. Facilities include a large car park, restaurant and sun lounger/umbrella hire.

There are, of course, many other beautiful beaches on the island.

Supermarkets
There is a small SPAR supermarket in Son Parc which stocks most food and household items. Although being very convenient, there are far better and cheaper supermarkets available within a few miles of Son Parc. Most notably there is a larger and better stocked SPAR in Es Mercadal and many larger supermarkets on the industrial estate in Mahon. Golf
Green Park Village enjoys the enviable position of bordering the only golf course in Menorca. Forming part of the Club Son Parc golf and tennis complex, this championship quality course is currently being extended to 18 holes from the present 15. Work on the remaining holes is due for completion the latter end of 2005. The course is open all year round and offers hire for clubs, trolleys and buggies. The Club House is situated directly across the road from Green Park Village making this an ideal golfing retreat where no car is required. It is open to members of the general public in presenting a very well appointed restaurant and bar facility. An 18 bay floodlit driving range is also open to the public for a small charge which includes club hire.

Tennis
There are two high quality tennis courts available at Club Son Parc. Racquets and balls can be hired from the golf shop.

Son Parc Woods
These consist of a few acres of prime woodland with public footpaths carving their way towards the high ground before taking in a more rocky approach to the beautiful beach at Arenal. An approximate 45-minute walk and one not to be missed, the views are truly spectacular.

Son Parc Strip
As the description would imply, just a short strip of supermarkets, gift shops, restaurants and bars, nothing over-generous but absolutely ideal for those not wishing to travel far or with young children. Games and quizzes are available for those seeking a true all-family evening.

Restaurants
There are many restaurants within easy reach of Green Park Village. If you don't want to travel far then the restaurant at the golf club is very convenient and the strip is about a 2 minute drive or, for the more energetic, a 20 minute walk. Of course if you are prepared to travel further afield then there are some super restaurants in the neighbouring towns and villages.
